How do I book a newborn session?
Booking a session is simple! You can contact us through our website's contact form (click book session button above), email, or phone. We will discuss your preferred date and time, and once confirmed, a non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to session.
How should I prepare for the newborn session?
We provide detailed preparation instructions during the pre-session consultation as well as a prep guide, including tips on feeding and soothing your baby before the session. Ensure your baby is well-fed and dressed in loose clothing to avoid marks on their skin.
What should I bring to the session?
Bring essential items such as diapers, wipes, a pacifier, and any special blankets or heirlooms you’d like to include in the photos. You are also welcome to bring any personal props that have special meaning to your family. If you are including sibling and family photos, please have everyone dressed and ready to go prior to session. Clothing is provided for newborn only.
Can parents and siblings be included in the session?
Absolutely! We encourage including parents and siblings in the session to capture the family bond and interactions with your newborn. If you choose from the Signature or Premium package, sibling and family photos are included.
How long will the session last?
Newborn sessions typically last around 2-4 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing your baby in a relaxed environment.
What safety measures do you take during the session?
As an experienced newborn photographer, I prioritize your baby's safety and comfort above all else. I am trained in newborn photography safety and use gentle handling techniques to ensure your baby is safe and secure throughout the session.
When will I receive my photos?
We provide a proof gallery of color corrected images within 7-10 business days after your session to choose your favorite images. Once images are selected and finalized, your fully retouched, high resolution images will be provided within 2 weeks. From there, you can select your favorite images to order prints, canvases, or albums.
Can I purchase additional digital images or products?
Absolutely! Additional digital images, prints, canvases, and albums are available for purchase. We offer a range of high-quality products to beautifully display your photos and preserve your memories.
